well you grab a comb and you whole the hair and put the comb on you hair and doit up and down more than once fast so it looks like if your sharpening your hair and then it stays up like that

Its a very cute cut. You just need to use product on the hair. There are a variety of ways to do this and you will need to experiment to see what works best for your hair type.

Use some dry wax (nothing too loose or greasy) or texturizing paste... a tiny bit goes a long way. That will give you the "piecey" look. Then use a strong hold hair spray to hold it up.

You could also try backcombing it a bit then use the wax to smooth the pieces.

Just play with it until you find something that works...but you will likely need to use hairspray no matter what to keep it there.
