Any hairstylists out there..or anybody who's had extensions?

i just have a couple of questions. i seen some clip on synthetic pieces on hairextensions.com and was just wondering if those are the best ones to get. (they're around $70...) How do I know which color to get? my hair is in between colors with highlights. Are they noticeable more on dark hair or light hair? and my hair is really fine so will they be really visible? Are the glue in kind ( the ones you can do at home) bad for your hair? (even though the website says they're not) I cant afford to go to a salon and spend a couple hundred (some even thousand) but i really want to try them. Any and all answers/suggestions would be appreciated....Thanks!!!

I would get the clips before I got real glued in extensions. They hold really well. You can tug on them and they don't budge. I would recommend these. You should go somewhere that sells them and try to match the color up to the color of your hair. If you have highlights you could get them in between colors or you could get darker or lighter. You really can't go wrong. They aren't noticable at all if the color matches up good. Since you have fine hair you'll want to go easy on the thickness of the extensions or you'll be able to see them. Please don't glue things in your hair especially by yourself. If you are considering getting the extensions glued please go to a professional. It's not bad for your hair if done properly. Get the clips or pay the bucks. Whichever is best for you. I'm sure that it will look great.

The clip ons suck ***.LOL.You can tell their fake.Their noticable on dark and light hair...if you want to try them try em...but I personally dont like them.GOOD LUCK!
