Please listen to catzrme - they gave some great advice.

I think the best way to help you through this is a great therapist that specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy. They could help you to look at the things that trigger these responses, focus of the triggers and look at what may have led you to feel the way you are feeling about them. If you are covered by insurance, ask your primary doctor to recommend a therapist. If you do not have access to health coverage, please check with community mental health in your area and talk to a therapist there. They "should" have a sliding fee scale that will base how much they charge (if anything) on how much you can afford.

Please talk with a therapist. This would be so debilitating to have to deal with these fears. I genuinely feel for you and hope a therapist can help you to deal with this.

A therapist may help you sort out hese feelings you have. This could be a disorder called OCD or another disorder. Only someone trained in psychology can help you sort this out hon.

I fouond this web site...now it deals with women's fears, so it looks a little funny at first, but it may help you understand why you shouldn't fear a public toilet, okay? It is advertising a product for women to "use" in a public toilet. So please don't think I'm sending you somewehre stupid, cause it does have information for you.

I also found this info for you:

Several conditions are thought to be behind toilet phobia. These include:

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) linked to a fear of contamination

Agoraphobia - an anxiety disorder commonly - and wrongly - linked to fear of open spaces, but which the National Phobics Society says is often manifest as a fear of feeling trapped, and a need to escape

Paruresis ('shy bladder' syndrome) - the fear of urinating in the company of others

Parcopresis ('bashful bowel' syndrome) - the inability to defecate in public toilets

Treatments include cognitive behaviour therapy, which helps people to break the cycle of faulty thinking, and hypnosis.~
