What do you think of hairpieces?

I am going back to work after i stayed home for three years to have and raise my two boys. Before I had my two boys I used to spend an hour each morning to fix my hair, you know the usual blowdrying, straightening .... and then another 30 minutes for makeup. Those days are over now, I am no more that young girl with all the time in the world. I need to wake up early now, look neat and clean to go to my job ( corporate atmosphere). I have an hour commute and I need to get my sons ready. I think you get the picture now. I was thinking about getting these clip ins, the ones that I need to pull my hair in a pony tail and then get something from there... like a wavey updo or something. However, I am only 27, so I don't want to look older than my age. What do you think of pieces? Do you think they are so obvious? Where can I find real hair clip ins and not synthatic? Thanks for sharing your opinion.

p.s. I attached a link to a sample clip in just so that you know what I am talking about.

I can spot any kind of wig/toupee/weave/extension from a mile away. Best thing to consider is to get a "easy haircut". A haircut that where you can wake up and it looks fine. Ask a beautician about those haircuts that only takes you five minutes or less to fix-up.

I'm 27 as well %26amp; I love them ! I don't wear them all the time, but , I do wear them every so often to work on those days I don't feel like doing my hair, or, if I'm having a bad hair day. I've never used the real hair one's, just the synthetic. I have gotten mine from www.exceptionalhair.com . I know they sell the real hair one's too, so , give them a try. I suggest that you first order one of the color rings so you can better match your hair color. I have used the drawstring one's that they sell %26amp; get complimented on it all the time (b/c it looks more real than having one that has a claw clip)

I think that hairpiece is beautiful!! And no, you won't look older than you are. I use these pieces all the time, because I am also a busy mom who is no longer able to spend much time on myself. I get many compliments. One time, I wore one of those hair extension scrunchies made by Goody, and I fooled my own mother!! She had no idea that I was wearing one.

Here are a couple of links to places that sell human hair ponytails...but the synthetic ones look very natural, as long as they match your own hair color. Good luck!
