at the end of saiunkoku I sakujun still had the hair piece right? and does anybody know if he's alive in season II?

I think Sa Sakujun alive because if you look at the cast of 閳ユ藩econd Season Saiunkoku Monogatari", Sa Sakujun is within that list with the seiyuu same as Senya. But I only already watched 6th episode right now, so I'm not too sure.
