The veil is very simple. It's a one layer tulle, sewn onto a small hair-piece comb.

My tulle was the same way, unfortunately I bought another one. But we made my sister's, go to the fabric store and you'll see various weight of tulle.

I don't know if this would help but it's worth a shot. You can rub a dryer sheet on the tulle softly and see if that will help relax it. If you don't like the smell of fabric softner then nake sure it' the unscented one.

Maybe you could steam it... don't really know if it would help. Steam to get any wrinkles out and when it dries hopefully it should loosen up a bit. Just something off the top of my head. Good luck.

Take it to your drycleaners and ask what can be done. Maybe they could just steam it, and it would relax the sizing.

Agree with previous posted about the various weights of tulle. Looks like you bought the wrong one. Since it's such a simple veil, I would go back to the store and re-do it with a softer tulling.

Probably, only use will soften that tulle, but it doesnt' hurt to try these other people's ideas since it's quite an inexpensive material.

Use baby oil and massage it into the veil. Continue to massage the veil for a long time if possible- do it while watching tv.
