How can I stand up for myself when friends question my choices?

For the most part, I have pretty good friends, but lately I have felt the need to defend a lot of my choices. Like lightening my hair, eating another piece of cake, a top I buy...they're not huge decisions and I don't understand why they're such a big deal to my friends. I could understand if I like took up smoking or was in a bad relationship or something, but little stuff like that?!

When one of them asks why did something, I just say "I don't know" and change the subject. How can I have the confidence to stand up for myself?

Also, this is what my hair looks like now, I don't think it looks rediculous or anything!

First of all your hair looks beautiful, it really suits you

secondly, don't worry what other people are saying, if there your friends I'm sure they just care and there just being protective.

Just tell them that you appreciate there opinion and concern but wish to live your own life under your own terms cause that what makes you happiest
