Plz Help! My kitty has a cut! What is it?

I was just at the doctor's office for my brother. When I came home, I was petting my cat and I noticed that he has a small patch of hair missing on his little gray ear! There is a little blood but it's dry and not bleeding. I am worried. I think(and hope!) he just got sap from our Christmas Tree stuck on his ear and his hair got stuck to the sap and when the sap got dry and fell off, so did the small patch of hair and a piece of his skin. But what if it's more urgent. He doesn't really seem to be in pain but every time I try to put my hand near his ear, he flinches. I guess that's normal, though! Please help me and my Smokeykins!! %26lt;3333 Please.....

I am sure your cat is fine, he could have been in a little fight or gotten into a scrape somehow, perhaps with the christmas tree. He will soon heal and be fine just keep an eye on him to make sure he doesnt make it worse ! Get well soon smokeykins !!

awwwwwwwwwww take poor cat to vet and ask what dude says

and be checking it everyday and take down tree and let its ear heal if it dont help get medic help fast or buy some thing to heal it

He could have scratched his own ear with his claws... Think about it, what happens to you when a cat scratches you? You bleed.

Put a little neosporin on it and it will be fine. He must have scratched it on something. Clean it up disinfect it and watch to see if it gets red and puffy-then you will need to go to the vet.
