Ok, I was just wondering, when you scrunch you hair.
This is what you do, right? (I haven't done this before)
Step # 1 : Take shower
Step # 2: Make sure hair is damp.
Step # 3: Run mousse through hair
Step # 4: Scrunch your hair from root to tip
Is that right, if you want to scrunch your hair?
My question are : Question # 1: If you have naturally curly hair, will it your "scrunched" up hair look the same as when you step out of the shower with your wet curly hair?
Question # 2: Will the hairspray and mousse hold the wavyness and it won't turn my hair into curly?
Question # 3: If water touches a piece of my hair, what will happen to the scrunched up hair? All I need to do is apply mousse to that part really quick, and it's back to the scrunched up way?
Please answer all three questions!
Thank you!

Let your hair dry halfway and then put moose in.

Woww..
You have the steps correct. Your hair may or may not look how it looks when you get out of the shower depending on the products that you use and how you style it. If your hair gets wet again, all it will do is reactivate the mousse that you already have in it.... so you won't need to apply anymore.
If your hair is really curly, and you are trying to get a wavy looks, try putting a gel rather than a mousse in it. Once you have your product in, flip your head upside down and shake it. Flip your hair back up, part it where you want and let it air dry... without really scrunching it. If you want really curly hair, apply a mouse and/or gel generously when it's wet and scrunch it. For optimun results, blow dry it using a diffuser, or scrunch it while you are drying it.

You've got the basics right. Basically what happens when you scrunch your hair is the mousse will tame the frizz and hold the curl. My hair is complicated, so I won't talk about mine, but my sister's hair is extremely curly. She puts mousse in it every day, and wets it to revamp the curl (with a spray bottle.. not too much though). I like the Got to be brand.. I can't think of the name of it, but it's an orange bottle. Frizz Ease also is good, but a bit more expensive. Also, make sure you flip your head upside down when you scrunch and don't get the mousse in only one spot. Get the front (I do it last) and just try to get it everywhere.. front, back, sides. When you are just about done, flip it back to normal and fix what you've missed.
I think I hit on everything, so I hope that helps!

Yes, you scrunch your hair just the way you described. I mix up styling cream and anti-frizz together instead of mousse (I don't like sticky/crunchy hair), but mousse is fine.
1) I think what it looks like depends on the amount of scrunching and product. When my stylist does it (she uses gel and blow dries it a little) it's far more curly than wavy. When I do it, it's more tousled and wavy, like it is when it comes out of the shower. I don't use gel, I let it dry naturally, and I don't mess with it much once I have it like I want it.
2) Depends on how curly your hair is. It should. I use heavier stuff, like the styling cream, that weighs my curls down.
3) It will curl back up if your hair gets really wet. You could re-scrunch it quickly, using the product that's already in your hair.
John Frieda makes an "Ocean Waves" or "Beach Hair" (can't remember the exact name) product with sea salt in it that works well for scrunching, if you don't mind sticky, crunchy hair. Makes it shiny too.
Hope this helps!
