Is it alright if I wear a tyara/crown to my Prom!?

My prom is in June and I already have my dress and its a very classy,antique, corset, princessy-type dress, and I can really see a tyara looking good with it...but on the other hand Im worried that I will look weird because the Prom Queen will be also wearing a crown :S...so I dont want people to think Im trying to be PromQueen, lol. What would you do? I REALLY want this tyara...but will I look strange wearing it if Im not PromQueen? What would you think if you seen me at your prom wearing one? And I dont want to wear one of those mini tiny tyara's as a hair piece either....I just want a regualr one (my hair will be half up, half down and curly).

yes, if it will look great on, then wear it. i wore a tiara to my senior prom, and won Prom Queen =) good thing someone told me to take my tiara off because i would have been wearing 2.

Go for it. It's your prom and it only happens once a year. Don't care about what the prom queen thinks or anyone else. It's likely you won't even see half of the kids you go to school with now after graduation. Go for it and have fun.

dont wear one but wear a hair clip or a hair band with little rinestones on them......

Well the dress sounds beautiful and i think liking your dress is very important. I agree that wearing a tiara would look great but also if your not running for prom queen, u probabley shouldnt wear it. Instead of a tiara you can dress up your hair in sparkley clips, not cheap ones that make you look 5 but there are really elegant ones you can find that will give the same glamour a tiara would.
