I just got side bangs and they won't calm down??

I just got side bangs today and a couple pieces of hair that used to be pretty long and on the other side of my part are flying everywhere and I can't get them to lay flat. I use a Chi straightener and that doesn't help at all. The only think that works a little is a whole lot of hairspray and that doesn't hold for very long. Tonight I'm going to sleep with my bangs clipped down and hopefully that will work. What causes this and how can I fix it?

instead of a straightener have you tried blow drying it w/ a flat brush. there is no way they will look good when you get up. you will always have to fix them in the morning, the price we pay for having bangs.

for a while, you should clip them down, jsut use little barrets or a couple bobby pins, i had to do it when i first got my bangs re done :) my stylist told me that your bangs will "learn" to go where you "tell" them to :)

Use hairspray til your hair gets used to it

Put a silicone serum or a very small amount of olive oil on it and then use a blowdryer to style-

idk but i would just clip them down for awhile and if that doesnt work just put like alot of water and c if that helps i tryied doin that it helped a little bit but thats all i did and then i would part my hair different ways and it would help.
