i have just dowloadd a few extra pieces like hair and clothes and stuff for sims 2 but i need help please. Does any one know how to import or whatever just to get them on the game. So i can add the clothes to my characters please. thank you x

On the website thesims2.com you would go to the help and stuff..there will be this content manager that you download and stuff, and after that any clothes you download..will ne installed..in to the game..make sure to click open after its finished downloading and then install

First of all, look at the file extensions. If they end in .rar then you need the program winRAR, which you can download free here- http://www.download.com/3000-2250-100076...

If it ends in .zip you can use winzip, but I think you can just use winRAR. You can download a free trial of winzip here- http://www.winzip.com/downwz.htm

Next, go to my documents, EA games, sims 2, and there make a folder called downloads. When you open up a file you download with the appropriate program, click the file in the program and hit extract, and browse to the downloads folder you just made. It should now show up in the game. Be careful though, some downloads screw up your game and make you have to re-install it.
