In general, what do you think of "side-swept" bangs?

I think that they're unoriginal, too flat to your head, and weird... especially when you put your hair up and leave those fried-straight lifeless pieces of hair just hanging their. I mean, sure they look cool on Nicole Richie and other people, because they have professional stylists, but on teenage girls? ... Everyone at my school has them. Is it like that everywhere? What do you think of side bangs?

i know! they are flattering if they are not extreme. i have curly light brown hair with side bands a little like nicole richie's but nothing like the bad kind but the first person is right, the girl in the seccond pic does look nice, but she needs to put it behind her ears, its weird looking covering her eye
