80's costume........???

i'm helping my friend put together a costume from the 80's. the one piece we want to use is a bright silver dress that comes down to a little above mid-thigh. so, what else should we do? any suggestions....makeup, accesories, hair, shoes, clothes??? thanx!

real big cheesy earrings (preferably big plastic hoops)

pumps or colored stockings

Leg warmers, jelly bracelets,side crimpted ponytail (or to get the crimpted look, put your friends hair in a bunch of braids when her hair is wet and then let it dry that way and take out the braids...instant 80s hair),bright blue eyeshadow,any sneakers or high heels that are a bright color.

if you have bangs...curl them under...then right above the bangs curl that back and tease it up a bit.....(aquanet is a necessity) wear leg warmers if you can find them...with pumps...plastic jewelry...pink blush with blue eyeshadow...have fun

get a can of aqua net hair spray...if they still sell it. and make her some big 'ole hair!

u can do some leg warmers....yeah i know, totally cheesy, but hey...we did wear those in the 80's.

we kind of liked the blue eye shadow then too.

glitter on the face was something I did too.

lots of bangles, like the black ones that madonna wore.

ripped fishnets was something silly we did then too.
