Today in class was oral report day. My teacher told me that my essay was the best in the class and he wanted to talk to me about it after class. When everyone left, I sat on a desk, like I always do, and my teacher came over, pushed a piece of my hair behind my ear, and starting touching my leg, knee, and thigh while he was talking to me. It was so very awkward and uncomfortable. What do I do? I know I should notify the police, but that's hard for me. I figured I'd talk to my friends about it, but most of them are guys and would basically murder my teacher. Help. What do I do?

I think you should realy tell someone but not your dad i know if i told my dad something liek this he would be in jail for murder so tell a counselor or another teacher or even your mom, what he did was not right and if you dont tell he could do worse to someone else you wouldnt want that would you? im so sorry this happened to you and i hate thinking my kids will be in school one day where they cant even count on there teachers to be safe, so i think you should do your part and help get the slime ball tossed out before he hurts someone

Tell your dad. He'll know what to do. Either one of your parents will take care of it. Please tell them.

Failure to report may encourage him. You might be perceived as sending the "OK" signal for more, or worse. Why not discuss it with your parents?

Just tell a different teacher you're comfortable with. Make sure you have some witnesses with you, okay?

Tell your parents ASAP. Tell them now. Don't wait. If that does not work for you tell the police. I'd say tell someone in authority at school, but they may have an interest in keeping this quiet, or they may discount you. Would be nice to have a witness with you (trusted friend) if you report it at school.

Don't think for a minute that keeping it quiet will help. Others may have had the same problem. This behavior needs to stop now, and the guilty person needs to be out of there.

well i definitely think you should have told your parents and then let them handle the situation. Be smart and don't take that kinda abuse from no one because if you don't say nothing then people will find out maybe say bad things. I dont want to give you the wrong advice but you can always tell the teacher dont do it again or the next time it will be reported. Maybe you should just talk to your parents because that's not right.

OMG. tell the cops or your parents NOW. or tell the principal and MAKE him call the cops. that is very VERY wrong and dont let him do that to you ever!

I would say at the very least you need to tell your parents. They will contact the school and the police if necessary. What he did (no matter the intent) was inappropriate. And is technically sexual assault. It's likely you are not the first. And as long as nobody does anything about it there will be others to follow. Stop him in his tracks now.
